Don’t let the picture fool you. This was taken many years ago in one of my favorite places, Egypt. I love how I do not care in this photo, what I am not wearing, and the freedom I felt that day. Beautiful waters, relaxed atmosphere. I am much older now, wiser, living a life I have dreamed of for years, moving forward, and creating new dreams along the way. This is the ongoing story of those dreams, living in foreign lands, meeting wonderful people, learning of their cultures through their traditions, celebrations, gatherings, and their FOOD! But I am still managing to stay healthy (mind, body, and spirit), active, KETO friendly, and expanding my horizons and self on the never-ending life journey I am on. All the while, navigating in a world colored by new norms, thanks to a pandemic. Come along for the ride!
My stories include my passions: travel, photography, food and culture, writing, staying healthy at a certain age, getting out there, spiritual growth, people I meet along the way, and life on the road. It also includes my struggles, my journey, and the way I manage to stay positive even while standing in the storms. It isn’t easy. I have help! But it is also part of the story. I can’t tell you how to weather life, but I can be an example of the light that shines within me.
